Come to one of our coffee mornings usually in the Community Rooms but...
...its amazing where they can take place - this morning they held it in one of the offices - very cosy!
Who are we?
Parents, staff, carers and any interested people from the local community who want to be involved in the life of the school.
What do we do?
The Friends support the school in a number of ways: by fundraising, by organising events, by offering specialist support, by being a sounding board on ideas and developments for the school.
We organize events. We support initiatives by individual parents. By these activities, we raise funds to support the school.
What more do we want to do?
Get more people actively involved
Organize more social events
Listen and respond to your suggestions
Build links with the wider community
What Can I do to help?
Give time to help with events e.g. bake cakes, help run a stall at a Fair, help with Book Fairs
Come to the coffee mornings or friends meetings and make suggestions.
What if I cannot attend meetings but can offer a 'one-off'?
We are keen to utilise all the talents and offers of support that you give us. It doesn't matter if that means being able to help once or on a regular basis, just let us know.
How do the Friends communicate?
We hope to start a Friends newsletter to inform everyone about forthcoming events. These pages will be updated regularly too. There will be a Friends Noticeboard in the community hall where we will display information.
